4930512365_38e8dacc68_zWell, September is finally over. While I’m so happy that I got my furniture loan paid off, the month as a whole did not go exactly as I had planned. But, that’s life I guess. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m just glad to have wiped out a debt and the next one is still on track to be paid off in November! Plus I have some fun things planned for October too.

Hereย are my September 2014 results:

2014 Goals:

  1. Increase EF savings account to $1,000 โ€“ FAILย –ย I’m hoping to get it back up to around $700 in October, but we’ll see what happens.
  2. Demolish $7,500 worth of debt –ย FAILย โ€“ My debt total did decrease, but only because of my mortgage payment. ๐Ÿ™
  3. Clear out clutter. โ€“ย PASSishย – I haven’t really been decluttering like I was earlier in the year. I need to get going on this again.
  4. Continue going toย Crossfitย (affiliate link)ย 3x/week โ€“ย PASSย โ€“ I made it 3x/week and sometimes 4x/week!
  5. More books, shoes and clothes out of my horde than new ones coming in. โ€“ย PASSishย โ€“ Still a net reduction of 13 books for the year.
  6. Find areas to scale back involvement so I have more free time at home โ€“ย FAILย โ€“ If anything, I have less free time at home, but on the plus side some of my side hustles are now done from the comfort of my couch with my PJs (or yoga pants) on!
  7. Spend more time with family, friends and my pets! โ€“ PASS – Don’t ask me how I’m passing this goal (ok, it’s lack of sleep, but some very good times hanging out with friends on the weekends!)

8/31/2014 โ€“ $134,403.94 (including mortgage)
