June 2014 Budget Plans
I can’t believe it’s already time to post my JUNE 2014 Budget Plan! Here it is:
|Clothes and Hair||$40.00|
You’ll see that the debt category went down again this month. Since I paid off my first debt in March, I’ve been snowflaking money toward debt each month based on the amount I need to live off of, so the amount going toward debt (about the minimum payments) varies a bit each month. I try to account for things I know will occur in the month so I know how much to give myself to live off of. Most of my credit card minimum payments have gone down slightly as the balances get lower as well.
I thought May would be a good month, but I had a hard time controlling my want to eat out and I had a few unexpected expenses pop up too. Here’s to hoping that June is considerably better.
As always, holler if you have any questions about my budget 🙂 and I have an awesome guest post lined up for you tomorrow. We’re having a blog swap, so be sure to check out my post tomorrow at The Weight of Debt!
Note: In case you missed it on Friday, I finally joined the Yakezie Challenge! This is a 6 month challenge about consistency in posting and improving your blog overall to be eligible to join the network. Yakezie is a great network of personal finance and lifestyle bloggers supporting each other to get awesome things accomplished! One of the criteria for measurement is your Alexa rating. You also write a submission post at the end of the induction period. You can see the button showing I’m doing the Yakezie challenge in my right side bar. Thank you all for your support as I work to complete this challenge!
