Feeling Excited

After I told you all that I’m still living in the 1800’s, paying my bills each month with a physical check by mail, I have stuck to my goal of paying all my CC bills (and many others) online. It has saved me numerous checks and stamps already, plus I can schedule them so they all come out of my account on the same day. This process makes it easier for me to budget because I know exactly when all of my payments will come out of my account.

Also, I’m feeling excited! Though I’ve told you all about some of the struggles I’ve felt lately, like not making as much progress as I’d like and some setbacks I’ve experienced, I’m really trying to celebrate even my small successes.

When I scheduled my online payments the other day, I scheduled the minimum payments on all my cards, except CC#4. I felt excited and proud that I got to check the “other amount” box and I paid over $60 extra on that card for July. While this may not seem like much, I’m pretty excited to see the balance go down, down, down. Hopefully I can pay some more on it in July and get rid of that card sooner than I originally projected! It would be a great feeling to get rid of two debts at once come September, so that’s something I’m really looking forward to!

Did you see the giveaway I posted on Friday? Make sure you enter for the two great prizes and pop on over to Femme Frugality to wish her a happy blogiversary!

How was your weekend? Have you had any small successes lately that make you feel excited?
